KitchenAid Gourmet Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Piece Cookware Set

This set of cookware has performed very well. They clean up well and look like they will last for a long time. The only problem with them is there are no mid size pans. They are smaller than they appear in the pictures. They do work well.

Cuisinart MCP-12 MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel 12-Piece Cookware Set

An outstanding collection of kitchen cookware. It looks and performs exactly like All Clad for about 1/4 the price. It cooks exceptionally well AT MUCH LOWER TEMPERATURES THAN YOU ARE ACCUSTOM TO. Because of the aluminum center/core, there is very uniform heat throughout the pot, including the sides. The long handles on the fry, saute, and sauce pans stay very cool. However, the handles on the 8 Q pot can get hot (because they are close to the body of the pot) while boiling with a gas stove, but otherwise are non-hot pad cool.Don't believe the reviews about hard to clean, food sticks etc. It is &*(%. In my opinion these reviewers don't know how to use the cookware properly. If you are frying/brazing/browning, use a small shot of Pam (I have tried al types of oils, but this works best) and make sure that the temperature is ~ 25% less than normal. This works even for eggs and omletes, but again, use a temperature setting of medium-low rather than medium for egg dishes. Also, Bar Keepers Friend, as recommended in the users manual, is perfect for making the inner and outer surfaces shine. It is non-abrasive.Fantastic product and great value. I bought the set for $218 on Amazon in December 2006. It is a steal! I have an All Clad 5Q saute pan, and the Multiclad Pro pan is equivalent at 20 to 25% of the price.

Emeril by All-Clad E937SB64 Stainless Steel with Copper and Pouring Spouts Dishwasher Safe 14-Piece Cookware Set, Silver

I have had the 10 piece set for a little over a month now, and I can honestly say I love it! And let me tell you, I cook ALL the time - 7 days a week, and at least 2-3 meals a day. So figure I have used these pots/pans at least 60 times by now. I have cooked everything from rice to steaks to vegetables, soups, pastas, sauces, and even things as delicate as eggs! The bottom heats very evenly, and quickly, and the handles DO NOT get hot, which was very surprising for me. Before I purchased, I was willing to accept the fact that I was more than likely going to have to deal with hot handles, as is the case with most stainless steel cookware, but with these I was pleasantly surprised. Even after being on the stove over high heat for a long period of time, the handles are still cool! But that is not to be confused with the handles on the lids - I find that the handles on the lids may become very warm after prolonged exposure to heat, but that it is generally to be expected if lid handles are not rubber coated, but that doesn't bother me in the least. To me, the weight of each individual piece of cookware is just perfect - heavy enough to feel sturdy and durable, but light enough for me to comfortably lift and move them with one hand while cooking (assuming I don't have something heavy in them). That is something that was very important when considering cookware. I know a lot of people say "the heavier, the better, because that means it is better quality"...but seriously, I…

Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 14-Piece Cookware Set, Orange

I bought these five months ago. I spent hours and hours online shopping for a new set of pots and pans, reading hundreds of reviews, researching the benefits of hard adonizing over stainless steel and other aluminum products, and this was the set I finally chose. I couldn't be happier! I looked at everything out there; from the cheapest to the most expensive professional cookware there is. I compared Pampered Chef, Paula Deen, Emeril, Cuisinart, Kitchenaid, Le Creuset.....and more. I checked them all out!My Criteria. Versatility - I'm single so for the most part I use the smaller pans in the set. Because of that it was important to me to find a set that had lids that fit the smaller skillets. Most sets out there have lids for the pots, but nothing for the skillets. But I also wanted larger pans for when I do entertain.Durability - I've spent way too much money in the past on pans that bend if you drop them, can't stand up to high heat, or end up with non-stick that starts peeling off after a few uses. I was looking for durability.Non-Stick - I'm a cook, not a chef, and have never really like stainless steel, so it was weeded out of the selection choices early on. I do like cast iron and at first was dreamy eyed about very expensive enamel coated cast iron (Le Creuset), until several of the reviews reported their enamel was chipping into the food and they have had no luck collecting on the lifetime guarantee, and this stuff is expensive!Price - obviously I wanted the best bang…

Emeril by All-Clad E937SA64 Stainless Steel with Copper and Pouring Spouts Dishwasher Safe 10-Piece Cookware Set, Silver

My husband gave me this set about six or seven years ago. Although it's used daily, the wear doesn't really show. These pots and pans are good for everything except frying an egg. The largest skillet is heavy, but it has and extra handle for an assist.

All-Clad Stainless 14-Inch Open Stir Fry

The wok is very good for heat distribution which is really the whole reason to purchase a wok, so thumbs up for that. One thing I agree on from all the comments is that it is heavy so tossing vegetables is a challenge. It cleans up very nicely with the help of a little BAR KEEPERS FRIENDBar Keepers Friend Cookware Cleanser & Polish: 12 OZ. All in all a great piece to add to your collection!

I never thought i'd spend the money to buy professional type cookware, I just love it! I love to cook and I don't know why I waited so long. The only setback is the brushed finished,I got the Master Chief II. I've already scuffed it. I might think another finish when adding pieces, but not other brand name.

Emeril by All-Clad E920SA64 Hard Anodized Nonstick with Pouring Spouts Scratch Resistant 10-Piece Cookware Set, Black

I've spent a large part of my life working in food. My father also worked in this industry; I grew up picky about my tools. I have a few high end All-Clad pieces for what you actually need high end All-Clad for, and these aren't even in the same leauge. That said, you don't need high end All-Clad for very many things, and most people won't ever even attempt those things in their home kitchens. If you're going to regularly make real bouillabaisse or something else out of Escoffier's book that takes several days --buy All-Clad. If instead you aren't a masochist, or even if you only go insane a couple times a year --buy these instead. I've had a set since they first launched. I went all the way through school on my first set, and while I'm anal about my gear, these are still in great shape.Pros:The price is unmatched for what you are getting. There isn't a way around that. These are the Lotus of pans. Of course there are TWR pans, but they cost enough that I've never seen a real resturant with them anywhere but at a display cooking station. The coating will last for years if you take care of it. You still can't put metal in the pans, and you'd better keep them out of the dishwasher.Really easy to clean by hand. DON'T EVER use a dishwasher for pans, even if a manufacturer tells you that you can.The stay cool handles really do stay cool. Don't pull them out of the oven without a towel, but all you need is a dry towel (DRY is important BTW! A damp towel will steam and hurt you)Sturdy.…

All-Clad Stainless 6-Quart Stockpot

I use this pot for cooking pasta. I have the multicooker, but this is a better size for one person. It's much easier to manage. As with all things All Clad, it has superior heating technology -- heats fast and evenly. Clean up is a breeze because it's dishwasher safe. A little polish keeps it bright and shiny.

Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless Steel 13-Piece Cookware Set

After a lot of research I ended up purchasing the Calphalon Tri-ply. I have always used the non-stick pans and they have always ended up chipping and I never used metal on them. If anyone has ever purchased non-stick pans I am sure you have heard they will never scratch or chip even if you use metal utinsels, wrong. The Calphalon pans are so much better. I had to follow the instructions on how to use these pans as this is my first stainless steel cook set. On this set the handles stay cool, even the lids handles, which I was happy to see. They are SO easy to clean, beats the non-stick when they are scratched up. I cook with these pots and pans every day and they are great. I use to have to move my food around the pan to get everything cooked evenly because the pans didn't heat up evenly. These pans heat up evenly, and I no longer have to move food around. I would definately recommend these pans. Read the instructions on how to use them and you will have no problems and find they are great and easy to clean.

All-clad Cop-r-chef 14-piece Cookware Set

My girlfriend and I have recently moved in together and have double sets, one is this set, the other a Wal-Mart Stainless Steel set. This set is much more efficient and enjoyable to cook with, it is light weight, durable, and heats up quick on both gas and electric stoves. Need to make sure to use plastic/wood utensils since metal will scratch the surface, and to set the heat to medium at the highest as it will cause the cookware to overheat. Other than habit changing on my part, this has been great cookware that I would buy again.

Simply Calphalon Nonstick Hard-Anodized 14-Piece Cookware Set

I've had nothing but excellent results and experiences with this cookware. For the money, I think it's the best you can get. I may use silicone & wood utensils to cook with, and the blue scotchbrite pads to clean them, but I sure as heck don't baby them, and I don't put anything between them when storing. I honestly don't know what some of these other reviewers are talking about. I've had no difficulty cleaning around the rivets, either, and I don't make any superhuman efforts to do so. I've had this set (plus additional pieces in the Simply Calphalon line) for almost a year, use them everyday, and I love 'em to pieces.*Update - January 1, 2012: Still in use, still doing a great job. So much so, that I've added additional open-stock pieces. Love this stuff!
